Travel Agent
I understand that ET Family Travel is not the source or supplier of the travel services I have requested and acts solely as an agent for the actual suppliers of the services. I have been advised that the suppliers, whose names appear in the information supplied to me, are those who are actually responsible for providing the travel services I have purchased. I consent to the use of those suppliers and agree not to hold ET Family Travel responsible should any of these suppliers fail to provide the travel services I have purchased, go out of business/ cease to operate, fail to comply with any applicable law, and/or engage in any negligent act or omission that cases me any sort of injury, damage, delay or inconvenience. I acknowledge that all pricing is subject to change until deposited and confirmed by the supplier. ET Family Travel reserves the right to terminate its relationship with any client whose conduct is abusive, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, or otherwise unreasonable toward agency staff or suppliers.
Responsibility
I will review my, and each person in my party's, travel documents for accuracy upon receipt. I understand that the name, date of birth, and gender that appears on their identification (18+) must exactly match the same data that is listed. I acknowledge that my failure to comply with these requirements may result in denied entry, and/or boarding, reservations, or security checkpoint delay. I must contact my travel advisor immediately regarding any discrepancies. Clients are responsible for reviewing confirmations immediately and reporting any errors. Name changes after booking may result in supplier-imposed fees, cancellation penalties, or rebooking requirements. Clients are solely responsible for ensuring they possess valid passports, visas, vaccination records, REAL ID compliance, and any other documentation required for travel.
Deposit and Final Payment
By submitting a deposit or any form of payment toward a reservation booked through ET Family Travel, I acknowledge and agree that ET Family Travel has invested professional time, expertise, and resources in securing and managing the booking. Upon payment of a deposit, ET Family Travel becomes the Agency of Record for the reservation unless otherwise required by supplier policy. Clients agree that bookings secured by ET Family Travel will not be transferred to another travel agency after deposit. ET Family Travel reserves the right to decline assistance with any booking where a transfer request is made after deposit has been applied.
I understand that final payment is due prior to departure according to each supplier’s terms and conditions involved in my travel booking (airline, hotel, cruise line, transfer company, sightseeing operators, and other travel service vendors).
If full/final payment is not received by the applicable due date, reservations are subject to cancellation and deposits can be forfeited.
Cancellations and
Changes
I understand that in some cases there is no refund of monies once a deposit is made, booking is secured, and/or paid for in full. My right to a refund of monies if I change or cancel my travel plans may be limited. As a result of cancellation, the travel supplier’s cancellation penalties will apply, which are detailed in my travel documentation and on the travel supplier’s web site. Cancellation penalties are provided at time of booking and upon confirmation. If I have questions, or any penalties are unclear, I must contact my travel advisor. I understand that fares can involve restrictions and that changing any aspect of my travel arrangements may result in the payment of additional money. Initiating a credit card dispute or chargeback for services properly rendered by ET Family Travel may result in cancellation of agency services and recovery of costs, attorney fees, and collection expenses where permitted by law.
Travel Protection
I acknowledge that ET Family Travel strongly encourages and offers access to Travel Insurance, to protect me and my travel investment. Should I chose to deny appropriate travel insurance, I recognize that if I cancel or interrupt my travel for any reason, all or portions of my trip may not be refunded by the travel suppliers; and that ET Family Travel’s travel supplier’s cancellation policies, forfeitures and penalties will apply, potentially resulting in the loss of monies up to the full cost of my travel booking and any related costs. Clients who decline travel protection acknowledge they may be financially responsible for losses resulting from cancellation, interruption, supplier default, weather events, illness, injury, missed connections, or other unforeseen circumstances.
ET Family Travel is not an insurance company and has no responsibility for the submission, payment, or adjustment of any insurance claims. Any insurance claims that may fall under the relevant travel insurance policy must be submitted to the insurance company identified in the policy. ET Family Travel advisors are not qualified or authorized to answer technical questions about benefits, exclusions, and conditions of any of the insurance offered. It is my responsibility to find any answers.
Liability
ET Family Travel is not responsible for any injury, loss, death, inconvenience, delay, or damage to person or property in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from, but not limited to, acts of God or force majeure, illness, disease, acts of war or civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, or any conditions, actions or omissions that are beyond its reasonable control. ET Family Travel’s Travel Advisors are not in a position to determine whether it is safe or appropriate that I, or anyone in my traveling party, should travel to any particular place at any particular time, and that any such determination must be made by me/ my traveling party. In making any such determination, it is my responsibility to refer to objective third-party sources such as the US Department of State (www.travel.state.gov) or the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (www.cdc.gov). The risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. By allowing ET Family Travel to book your reservation you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
